Lord of Drinks – Amazing food, welcoming People

Food, food, and food. The craze for food is crazy. No matter how hard one tries to get fit, the tempting aroma can make you fail miserably. However, it’s always good to take care of your health because nothing pays you well other than your health.

While if you too are a foodie and crave for food as much as I do then this blog can definitely interest you. I love to eat and also want to be fit. Actually, these are just the two opposite things. So, I try to eat healthy all through the week and binge on my starvations on the weekends. What I do is explore new places all alone and make a pig of myself. Yes, I love to go alone because when there is food I do not want any distraction. (Also, because I have nobody to accompany me).

This Saturday I treated myself (though I was broke as always). I went to this amazing place Lord of Drinks – Hauz Khaz. I came out of the house at 8 and was wondering where to go. The nearest to my house is Hauz Khaz and I being alone actually cared about my safety as well. Lord of Drinks has an amazing welcoming entrance that can definitely attract you. So as soon as I got down of auto, this place attracted me.

There is a long entrance that you need to walk on. While, if you are with a date then this could be a romantic walk but for people who would like to go all alone (like I did), this could hurt your heels. I ordered a beer and was checking out the cheapest item that I could afford. The first thing on the menu that generally attracts us all (especially the non-vegetarians) is Chicken, to be precise it would be chilly chicken.

I tried to change the monotony and preferred the Chicken wings. To be honest, it wasn’t something that can make you go nuts. It was good, rich and beautifully decorated. I loved the ambience, the crowd was so decent, the staff was more than welcoming and the complimentary drink was actually a cherry on the cake. Yes, I did get a complimentary drink and honestly, it wasn’t like those regular complimentary drinks that the pubs offer in Hauz Khaz. It actually had alcohol in it.

The perks I enjoyed was a special service by the manager, an additional 20% discount and obviously the complimentary drink. Well, if you are also wondering to avail such service then this place should definitely be on the list.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
